• Day
  1
  Arrival and transfer Volcanoes National Park

  You will be met on arrival at Kigali International Airport or pick up from your hotel and you will be welcomed by our guide who will drive you to Volcanoes National Park. You will have your fresh on your way to Volcanoes National Park. On the way you can stop in markets. On arrival at Volcanoes National Park you will relax in your lodge with Dinner and overnight on Full Board.

  2
  Gorilla tracking

  After breakfast, you will drive to Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a brief meeting about the does and don’ts when you are with the mountain gorillas then set off into the rain tropical forest to begin Gorilla tracking which usually takes between 2-6 hours. This activity involves passing through the muddy and thick forest, thus it is advisable to move with packed lunch, bottled water, jean trousers, non- flash cameras, rain gear and strong boots, however, when you meet the gorillas you will disremember all the difficulties you prior went through. After tracking the gorillas, you will walk back to the park headquarters and your driver guide will drive you back to your lodge afternoon relaxation with overnight on Full Board.

  3
  Nyungwe Forest National Park

  After your breakfast you will leave Volcanoes National Park then drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park. En route you will have fresh lunch then proceed to Nyungwe Forest National Park arriving late afternoon. You will Check in your lodge for late afternoon relaxation and walk around your lodge with your dinner and overnight on Full Board.

  Chimpanzee Tracking Nyungwe National Park

  After your breakfast your guide will drive you to the Park headquarter where you will be briefed on Chimpanzee tracking rules and then you walk to the forest to search for our man’s closet relatives’ chimpanzees. They are excellent fan to watch as they are playing in fruitful trees. The activity is usually takes between 1-6 hours and this usually depends on their movement. You will be allowed to spend only one hour with them. You will also view several other primates in Nyugwe including Hoest Monkey, Rwenzori colobus, silver monkey, owl faced monkey and the red tailed monkey. Drive back to the lodge for lunch then in the evening go for a guided nature walk in the forest, giving you an opportunity to view a variety of animals and several species of birds. You will then walk back to your lodge for late evening relaxation with overnight on Full Board.

  Drive to Kigali

  After breakfast you will relax in your lodge before you drive back to Kigali- Rwanda’s capital city. On your way you will visit Genocide memorial of Murambi- a place where you will be explained about the 1994 Rwanda Genocide. On arrival in Kigali you will check in your hotel for late afternoon relaxation with overnight on Bed and Breakfast.

  Akagera National Park

  After early breakfast in the morning you drive to Akagera National Park with packed lunch boxes for your picnic lunch. The park is located in the Eastern part of Rwanda along the Rwanda- Tanzania boarder. While doing game drives in Akagera National Park you will be searching for the big mammals like Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, several Antelope species, and recently the re-introduced Lions and Rhinos. The park is a varied habitat for wildlife and a birders haven with over 500 bird species in the park.<br /> You will enjoy your picnic lunch and then you will do afternoon game drives with Dinner and overnight at your lodge on Full Board.

  Game drives and Boat Cruise

  After breakfast you be drive to the savannah areas of the Akagera National Park to search for the big herds of the games including; lions, giraffes, elephants, topi, impalas, Burchell’s Zebra and a lot of bird life including the shoe billed stock and African jacana. After game drives you will drive back to the lodge in time for lunch then go for the afternoon boat trip along Lake Ihema to see the large number of hippos then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight on Full Board.

  Akagera National Park and Departure

  After breakfast you will relax in your lodge and then be driven back to Kigali. If time permits you can visit the local markets and the education center with lunch en route. On arrival in Kigali you will dropped in your hotel if you will spend your night in Kigali at own cost or your will be transferred to Kigali International airport for your international flight to your next destination.
